The students and faculty running the Las Positas College’s Student Newspaper, The Express, needed a website to bring their articles to life online and to better serve their readers’ needs. After finding a Premium WordPress theme they liked to help save time in the design and development process we consulted with them to determine what customizations they’d like to “brand” the WordPress theme for The Express. After the design consultation Nicasio then created a “Child Theme” for all the customizations so any future updates to the premium theme by the original creator would not overwrite the custom work.
