Great overview!

I hadn’t noticed the “upload a plugin ZIP” feature. I’ve had some trouble with FTP on some hosts like GoDaddy, where the transfer would fail and files would be corrupted. The ZIP upload would eliminate this problem.

WordCamp Dallas will be on June 27-28, is your team planning to be there?

Thanks for such nice review. I’m not using wordpress for a looong time.. but I like 2.7. definately for nice admin section and straight way for plugin installation.

the auto install of plugin from ZIP or from the net is a nifty feature…

but I sometime get errors when Wordpress.org is experiencing high traffic or is blocking our domains…

That is a sweet new admin. It would be a great idea to encourage all clients to upgrade when the plug-ins have been updated. It’s an ideal situation for a fixed-price upgrade.
