In case you did not already know this – WordPress is the Internet’s leading blogging software today. With its user-friendly features, this blog platform is ideal for beginners and novice bloggers. Small business, however, ranging from those who conduct online sales to simple information portals can use this platform for their blogs or websites as well. In fact we insist they use it when they come to us with a new project. Why? Glad you asked. For one it is free and easy-to-use.

We are pleased to announce that Dynamic Headers version 3.4.2 has been released. With this version we have fixed numerous bugs, and optimized the plugin even more. Additionally we have dropped support for WordPress version 2.6 and below as of this update. It is simply becoming too time consuming to try to add new features whil catering to all versions of WordPress. If you are using WordPress 2.6 or lower you will need to upgrade, or continue using an old version of Dynamic Headers.
We love WordPress and Google Analytics here at Nicasio, so this plugin is pretty awesome for us. It’s a plugin that allows you to have a dashboard in WordPress that gives you key WordPress stats, Google Analytics stats, and, if you’re a MailChimp user, MailChimp stats. This plugin is provided by the team over at MailChimp.
Bloomberg is reporting that Google intends to challenge Microsoft in the operating system arena. Perhaps Google can create a marketable competitor to Microsoft’s long standing hold on the Operating System market.
For those of you not familiar with Wild Apricot, it is perhaps the most robust membership management solution around today. All web based – its users can run their website and manage their membership [via events, profiles, and online payments] all from one UI.
WIFTA wanted a site that set it apart from the pack of Wild Apricot templates. The result! Chris Underwood at his best. A site designed and developed for optimum use of the features Wild Apricot has to offers.
We are glad to announce the launch of this awesome new Content Management solution on behalf of WIFTA. A place where “media makers [can] connect, create, champion and inspire. ”
At Nicasio, we’re passionate about technology. So, it’s always a treat when we get to work with someone on a project who is equally as passionate about technology. That was the case with one of our recent WordPress site launches Tech Webinar Maven (TWM).
TWM needed a site that allowed for the management and addition of a large amount of content, a layout that to display that content, a robust ad management system, and basically a site that would do it all. Enter a custom WordPress site.
Through the use of open source plugins, custom plugins, and a custom theme we were able to give TWM all the functionality and aesthetic elements they desired…and then some.
We are proud to announce the launch of one of our latest WordPress design and development projects. Life Design for Lawyers (LDL).
LDL came to us looking for a down to business design and layout that was easy for them to manage on their own. The result – a custom design developed on WordPress.
