With so many E-Commerce solutions on the market today how do you know what factors you should use to decide which solution is right for you?
While there are many things to be considered when deciding on an E-Commerce solution (see Nicasio’s 2008 E-Commerce Reviews), there is one common factor that should always be first and foremost in your mind: Search Engine Optimization.
It’s that time of the year once again. Kids are out of school on vacation, and if you are a turkey – you are probably feeling kind of nervous. Nonetheless, it is often a time we tend to spend with family and friends making the best of the occasion.

There are often websites that wow you, but from time to time there is the rare site that just blows you out of the water! I think Chris has made this his goal with the GIS Day Savannah’s WordPress website.

Over and over again, many persons will start out with developing their own site. I have come across many websites that feature products with no way of ordering them online. Sometimes the only way to place an order is to give the company a call, or download a form > print it > fill it out > write a check > place the check and the order form in an envelope > whew…I am growing tired just thinking about it! Needless to say, this can be a big inconvenience to potential customers and even force them to find a company where they can buy the same product and purchase it online; how convenient.
There are many different types of Content Management Systems (CMS) available to Website owners, but do they contain all the features you need to run your Website effectively and efficiently? The answer is sometimes, but more than likely not. After all, not all Websites are the same; selling the same products, have the same features, and content – I think you get the idea.
All CMS have different feature sets and different functionality / plugins / solutions; some features may be usable to your site, and other features can be pretty much useless depending on your needs. Not to mention, some are free as in “Open Source”, and others you have to pay for.

Small projects never upset us. Thus we developed the Millionaire Women’s Club WordPress site in a flash ;0)
There are several reasons why I say small projects don’t upset us;
1 – They are a great way to get to know our customer’s goals and objectives.
2 – They allow us to show our level of expertise to our customers.
3 – There can never ever be a time when we are too busy to help small businesses / bloggers.
4 – Some of our longest standing customer relationships started out as a small web project.
5 – Small iterations / releases of projects is a great motivator for the development team.
Just because there is a WordPress Content Management System [CMS] update alert in your admin, it does not mean that you *MUST upgrade; disclaimer, if there is a big security issue that needs to be resolved by an upgrade on your version of WordPress – please seek the advice and/or services of a professional firm like ours :0)
Is it really possible to outgrow the WordPress Content Management System [CMS]? If you are publishing on WordPress on a regular basis, I’d say that yes, there is a good possibility that you could out grow it; especially if your WordPress CMS is not setup correctly.
If this happens, your site could be in jeopardy – specifically in its ability to help you reach your long term goals & objectives.
WordPress is designed by developers who have made it available to the world as an Open Source CMS which means that we all start with the basic code that can further be customized to meet the full needs of a web site owner’s short and long term goals.
